On-device scanning

Laughify scans locally to find laughter moments in videos you allow the app to access. Your videos, audio, thumbnails, filenames, exact clip timestamps, face data, contacts, locations, and share recipients are not uploaded to Laughify.

Laughify may inspect the filename of a saved video on your device to recognize LaughGram videos shared with you, such as files named with a LaughGram pattern. This happens locally. Laughify does not upload filenames, LaughGram export IDs, source dates, or the shared video.

Data Laughify collects

Laughify collects limited data needed to operate and improve the app: an anonymous install identifier, a Support Code derived from that identifier, coarse product interaction events, app and vendor-level attribution identifiers, crash data, performance data, other diagnostic data, purchase and entitlement records, and customer support requests you choose to submit.

Support and feedback forms may include your optional reply email, Support Code, category, message, app version, build number, platform, and environment. Please do not send videos, audio, thumbnails, filenames, Photos identifiers, exact clip timestamps, contacts, locations, or share recipients in a support request.

Data Laughify does not collect

Laughify does not collect your name, contacts, precise location, browsing history, device advertising identifier, Photos library identifiers, photos, videos, audio recordings, thumbnails, filenames, exact clip timestamps, face data, or share recipients.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat manages Laughify Unlock entitlement state and purchase restoration. Laughify may keep entitlement mirror records for app functionality, analytics, and support, but Supabase entitlement mirrors do not unlock paid features.

Diagnostics and analytics

Laughify uses privacy-safe telemetry to understand app health and product interactions, such as app launches, onboarding progress, scan status, aggregate LaughGram import counts, paywall views, purchases, restores, share flow status, support flows, crashes, performance, and other diagnostics. Diagnostic context may include app version, build number, iOS version, device family, device model class, screen size, and locale/region. These records use coarse, aggregate, or bucketed values where practical and are not used for third-party advertising or tracking across apps and websites.

Advertising measurement

Laughify may use attribution and advertising measurement providers such as AppsFlyer, Meta ads, SKAN/AdAttributionKit, and RevenueCat purchase attribution to understand whether campaigns lead to installs, onboarding completion, paywall views, shares, purchases, and other coarse app actions. These providers may receive app and device context needed for attribution and campaign measurement, such as app version, operating system version, IP address, AppsFlyer ID, IDFV, and coarse in-app event names and parameters.

Laughify does not send private media, thumbnails, filenames, Photos identifiers, exact clip timestamps, face data, contacts, precise location, share recipients, or user-entered support text to advertising platforms. Laughify does not request App Tracking Transparency permission in the current app version and does not use IDFA for this attribution setup.

Deletion

Delete Laughify Data in the app removes local Laughify scan, library, profile, cache, and settings data from your device without deleting videos from Photos. If you choose the off-device deletion option, Laughify uses your anonymous install identifier and Support Code to delete matching privacy-safe telemetry and support records from Laughify servers, then rotates the local anonymous install identifier after successful deletion.

Service providers

Laughify uses service providers such as Apple, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Meta ads, Supabase, Sentry, and Vercel to provide purchases, attribution, advertising measurement, support, telemetry, crash reporting, website hosting, and app operations. These services must not receive your private media from Laughify.
